The primary purpose of the Logistics Associate is to facilitate and coordinate all the Carter Electric warehouse operations in their entirety.
This includes ensuring the proper receiving, tracking, and planning of electrical materials being delivered to/from the Carter warehouse and active job sites, overall maintenance of the warehouse and office, and accurate cataloging of tools, electrical materials, supplies, and inventory.
The Logistics Associate II will also assist the Carter Electric Fleet team when needed.
General Description:
Ensures all job material, tools, and various equipment is successfully processed (inbound and outbound).
Works alongside the Logistics Associate I (Driver) to efficiently complete delivery and warehouse tasks.
Communicates clearly, effectively and professionally with the Logistics Manager, associates, and all field personnel.
Always complies to all Carter Electric safety standards in the warehouse, on the roadways and on jobsites.
Maintains the overall organization, cleanliness and upkeep of the warehouse and accompanying areas to ensure a safe working environment.
Properly and accurately maintains the online tool and equipment tracking system - OneKey.
Maintains and upkeeps the office amenities, bathrooms, storage rooms and supplies.
Assists in various fleet/ logistics teams' daily responsibilities when idle.
Overall groundskeeping of the warehouse, office, and equipment yard when idle.
Essential Duties:

Collaborate with the Logistics Manager with warehouse tasks and projects Daily 4.
Create and manage warehouse documents, delivery logs, and packing slips Daily 5.
Maintains the office/warehouse amenities and overall upkeep Daily 6.
Ensures a safe working environment in the warehouse Daily 7.
Coordinates with Project Management and field personal for tool and material needs Daily Skills Required:
