We supply young plants and ornamental plants.
Our product line includes bromeliads, spathiphillum, and other ornamental plants such as nepenthes, ficus, alocasia, codiaeum, chlorophytum and others.
Job Description:
Deroose Plants is looking for an assistant grower to work in approximately 3 acres of production area.
This is a hands on role whereas responsiblity includes all aspects of growing quality plants.
The hours start from 7:
30am and end times vary on functions, but a qualified candidate can expect to work about 9 hours a day.
Routine functions include but not limited to are:
irrigation, fertilization, weed control, chemical application scouting and soil sampling under the guides of the head grower.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed by head grower.
Candiadte must be able to withstand the heat because you will be working in a greenhouse.
Along with being on your feet for most of the day.
Minimum of High school diploma is required.
Additional Horticultural education is helpful but not required.
Prior experience is a plus, however it is not required.
We are willing to train and support to create a successful employee.
