Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team.
The Construction Assistant will work alongside our construction team to assist with various tasks and ensure the successful completion of construction projects.
This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of construction techniques and the ability to use a variety of hand tools.
Duties:
- Assist with construction projects by performing various tasks as directed by the construction team - Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks - Assist with construction inspections and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations - Help with the installation and repair of various construction elements, such as stucco, trim carpentry, etc.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials - Load and unload materials and equipment at the construction site - Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Collaborate with the construction team to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of various construction techniques and the ability to use hand tools effectively - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time outside - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment Job Type:
