We are currently seeking a Sanitation Worker to join our team.
As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities.
This is a crucial role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.
If you have experience in porter or custodial work and possess strong skills in floor care, industrial cleaning, and facilities maintenance, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces - Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs; removing spider webs; powerwashing docks and sanitizing warehouse walls - Some lawn care (mowing, weed eating, etc.
) - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed - Follow established safety guidelines and procedures - Adhere to company policies and regulation Skills:
Strong communication skills.
Create and support a positive atmosphere.
Teamwork being the highest priority.
The ability to work with others Strong attention to detail and time management.
The ability to critically think through problem solving and take initiative.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older to apply.
High School diploma or GED required.
A valid driver's license.
Janitorial, custodial or grounds maintenance a bonus, however not required.
Forklift experience a bonus, however not required.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
or more.
Spend time bending or twisting the body.
Spend minimal time kneeling, crouching, stooping.
Spend time standing for long periods of time.
Exposed to hot or very cold temperatures.
Minimal exposure to noise levels can be distracting or uncomfortable.
